What is Trezor Wallet?
Trezor Wallet is the combination of a physical hardware device (the Trezor hardware wallet) and companion software (Trezor Suite) designed to keep your private keys offline. The Trezor device signs transactions in a secure environment so your seed phrase and private keys never touch an internet-connected device.
Core components
- Trezor Hardware Wallet — a small USB device that stores keys securely.
- Trezor Suite — desktop/web app to manage accounts, send/receive and view portfolio. (See Trezor Suite.)
- Trezor Bridge — a helper app that securely connects your Trezor to a browser or Suite. Download at Trezor Bridge.
Quick setup (overview)
- Visit trezor.io/start and follow model-specific steps.
- Install Trezor Bridge or open Trezor Suite (recommended) and connect the device.
- Create a new wallet: write down the recovery seed and store it offline.
- Use the Trezor Login / Trezor Wallet Login flow inside Suite to access accounts.
Security best practices
Buy directly from the official store, never share your recovery seed, and verify device firmware prompts on the hardware screen. Always keep firmware up to date via Trezor Suite.
